Day 1:Hanoi Arrival ( D)

Arriving at Hanoi Airport, picked up and transferred to your hotel by guide and driver (the rooms are at your disposal from 14:00). If time permits, take a brief tour to travel around the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake before enjoy a traditional Water Puppet show and welcome dinner in famous Vietnamese restaurant in the city.

 

Day 2:Hanoi city tour ( B/L)

Have breakfast at hotel and take a day of sightseeing tour in Hanoi City. Drop by several key attractions of Hanoi as: Ho Chi Minh Complex (includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and stilt house), One Pillar Pagoda and Tran Quoc Pagoda nearby the West Lake.
Savor lunch and then visit the Ethnology Museum. Next, stop by the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam. Finally, get on a ride on Cyclo which provides you the sufficiently experience of Hanoi bustle life.

 

Day 3:Hanoi – Hoa Lu Tam Coc – Night train to Lao Cai ( B/L)

Enjoy breakfast. About 8:00AM, our private coach transfers you to Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh Province. Once in the old days, Hoa Lu was capital of Vietnam under the Dinh and Le Dynasties. Explore the charm of this former capital and ancient temples there. Then, get on another drive through lovely villages, green paddy fields, shallow rivers, and small roads to Tam Coc for lunch.
Next, visit Tam Coc cave to discover the charm and karst formations. Then, visit Bich Dong pagoda before returning to Hanoi for night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.

 

Day 4:Lao Cai - Bac Ha Market - Sapa ( B/L)

At the station, our driver and guide will meet up and take you to Bac Ha Market. Along the way, enjoy beautiful mountainous scenes and rice paddy fields. Enjoy breakfast in a local restaurant.
In the Market, see the local selling and exchanging their goods and products, witness the traditional clothes and daily custom of them. Next, make time to visit H’mong King’s palace, an old building built by the French and Chinese.
The afternoon is devoted to a light trekking to a village of Flower H’mong minority, Ban Pho. Local families will welcome and offer you some green tea, corn wine and short brief of their custom. Then, enjoy dramatic landscapes of the surroundings. Drive back to Sapa for stay overnight.
Note: Bac Ha Market is only for Sunday. For the other days, alternative markets will be applied.

 

Day 5:Sapa - Cat Cat - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Night train to Hanoi (B/L)

After your breakfast our driver and guide will take you to Cat Cat village, a home of H’mong ethnic people. Get on another 4-km drive and walk about 2.5 hours to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages where the Dzay minority inhabiting. Enjoy lunch in a local house to understand their daily life and custom. In the afternoon, get through bamboo forest to visit Giang Ta Chai village of Red Dzao and then pass by a spectacular waterfall and a rattan bridge on the way back to Lao Cai. Catch a train to return Hanoi.

 

Day 6:Hanoi - Halong Bay ( B/L/D)

Have breakfast served at mini hotel nearby Hanoi Railway station before departing 3.5 hours to Halong Bay – the World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO twice. Upon arrival, embark the cruise and enjoy welcome drink while having tour briefing. A sumptuous lunch will be served on board while the ship sailing further to the Bay, make your time to admire its dramatic limestone islands.
You can rest at your leisure on the sundeck or relax in your cabin. In the afternoon, you will have time to deepen yourself in the warm and calm water or get on kayaks of your choice. Kayaking is very easy for all levels and ages to do. Our expert and experienced guide surely instruct you basic paddling steps before leading you to explore the extraordinary beauty of Halong Bay. Enjoy the dinner and stay overnight on board.

 

Day 7:Halong Bay - Hanoi ( B/L)

Around 6:30AM, take a Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck in the pleasant light of the sunrise.
Breakfast, coffee and tea are served. After breakfast, cruise will come across Trong (Male) cave, Trinh Nu (Virgin) cave, Coc Ngoi (Toad) cave and we drop anchor at Surprise (Sung Sot) Cave known as the most beautiful and magnificent grotto of the Bay.
Afterwards, relax at your leisure as the ship cruises back to the harbor. Check-out your cabin and enjoy lunch before going offshore and disembarking.
Our driver will pick you up and take you back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day 8:Hanoi - Departure ( B)

Our driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight home. Good luck and see you again!
